Construction :Mild Steel vessel complete with hand hole, Charging hole, perforated bed support plate, Dome shape Nozzles, Resign Trap etc. and complete with pipe lines, Valves, Pressure Gauge, Sampling Cock, Water Meter etc. Painted Externally with a protective coat of Red Oxide primer and internally with anticorrosive  paint.

Operation :Chemical Rection in softening operation is an Iron Exchange Process, During operation period cation Exchange Resins in Sodium form absorb Calcium, Magnesium dissolved in raw water and after producing certain amount of soft water sodium is exhausted and needs regeneration with common salt solution. In case of medium size softener salt solution is prepared in a salt pot and instantly fed into the softener. Soft Water is then test with the help of a Hardness Test Kit and fid into different processes.
